Representatives from Soar Technology attend and present at many conferences each year. The following are some of the key conferences our researchers participate in.

Soar Workshop
Each year members of the Soar community -- faculty, scientists, graduate students, technical staff and developers -- gather together for an intensive interaction and exchange of ideas. The Soar community is widely distributed geographically. These workshops provide the opportunity for face-to-face conversations, hearing about the current status of other participants' research, and looking forward to what will be happening in the future. We will try to give as many members of the community as possible the opportunity to describe their research or to discuss whatever Soar issues are of concern to them.

I/ITSEC
The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) promotes cooperation among the Armed Services, Industry, Academia and various Government agencies in pursuit of improved training and education programs, identification of common training issues and development of multiservice programs.

IAAI
Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence Conferences traditionally consist of of case studies of deployed applications with measurable benefits whose value depends on the use of AI technology. In addition, many IAAI conferences augment these case studies with papers and invited talks that address emerging areas of AI technology or applications.

EuroCogSci
The aim of this conference is the presentation of empirical, theoretical, and analytical work from all areas of interest in cognitive science, such as artificial intelligence, education, linguistics, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology and anthropology. The focus is on interdisciplinary work that is either of interest for more than one of the mentioned research areas or integrates research methods from different fields.

SMART
The Simulation and Modeling for Acquisition, Requirements and Training (SMART) Conference has been an annual event since 1998. The purpose of the conference is to promulgate the SMART concept by providing a forum for information exchange and networking.

BRIMS
This annual event provides a forum for scientific and technical exchange on research in the science of human behavior representation and on the application of leading-edge cognitive science to the behavior representation challenges faced by the modeling and simulation community.

ICCM
This series of meetings was founded to encourage international, inter-disciplinary co-operation in the field of cognitive modelling, including symbolic and connectionist models, evolutionary computation, artificial neural networks, grammatical inference, reinforcement learning, and data sets designed to test models.

AAAI Symposium Series
AAAI's Spring and Fall Symposium Series affords participants a smaller, more intimate setting where they can share ideas and learn from each other's artificial intelligence (AI) research. Topics for the symposia change each year, and the limited seating capacity and relaxed atmosphere allow for workshoplike interaction.

Army Science Conference
The Army Science Conference (ASC) is sponsored by the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology). The conferences feature presentations of papers and posters judged as best among those submitted by scientists and engineers from government, industry and academia. Authors of the most outstanding papers are selected to receive special recognition and awards. The audience includes representatives from academia, industry, U.S. Government and allied nations.

IUI
